Marcus
Overton is an actor, director, and coach whose career has
encompassed theatre, opera, radio and television, and arts
administration. Now completing his third year as Board Chair of
the Actors Alliance of San Diego, he recently appeared as
Mendoza/Devil in the AASD's benefit performance of Shaw's MAN
AND SUPERMAN. Last spring, he played Professor Davis in Brendon
Fox's production of A CERTAIN UNSOUNDNESS OF MIND in the Fritz
Blitz, and was seen this time last year as Peter in Renaissance
Theatre's mounting of Albee's ZOO STORY. His award-winning show
for South Carolina Public Radio, SPOLETO TODAY, is about to
celebrate its tenth year on the air each spring in Charleston
SC. At the beginning of this year, he directed HIPPOLYTOS when
the Weeks of Greeks Series at
6th@Penn
presented its first fully-staged production.

Eric Poppick
moved to San Diego in May 2006. Before his move, he spent 30 years in Los
Angeles working as an actor and director for stage, television and film.
Some stage productions in Los Angeles include Awake and Sing, Scapino,
Rhinoceros, Woody Allen’s Don’t Drink the Water and the world
premiere of Steven Berkoff’s Sit and Shiver. His many TV guest
appearances include roles on “Seinfeld,” “NYPD Blue,” “L.A. Law,” “Columbo,”
“The Young and the Restless” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” On film, Eric can
be seen in Mouse Hunt, Single White Female, Hero (with Dustin
Hoffman), Suckers and Basic Instinct, among others.
Eric performed in and was the Associate Artistic Director of the 2007 San
Diego Actors Festival at the Lyceum Theatre. Two productions in which Eric
acted, One for the Road by Harold Pinter and Wonderful You by
George Soete, were chosen to be among the Best of the Festival. In the
summer of 2007, Eric directed Play It Again, Sam at Scripps Ranch
Theatre. In late January 2008, Eric can be seen in a staged reading of
The Madwoman of Chaillot at Scripps Ranch Theatre.

Dónal
hails originally from Dunedin, New Zealand. Growing up on the south island, he
became infatuated with the Maori culture of story telling. Dónal then moved away
from Aotearoa and studied acting at the Sylvia Plath Theatrical College in
Vaduz, Liechtenstein. He also spent time studying culinary arts at Le Cordon
Bleu in Paris. As for theatre, Dónal has been working on and behind stage for
over 20 years. He was last seen as Friar Lawrence in Romeo & Juliet at the North
Coast Rep and has worked with such theaters as Lamb’s Players, CCT, Octad-One,
Marquis Theater, The Women’s Rep and The Mission Playhouse. When his financial
situations allow, Dónal enjoys traveling, expanding his polyglot exploits,
continuing the study of the culinary arts, performing the Haka for free beer in
pubs, and telling tall tales. |

Riendeau was just seen as Slim at 6th at Penn in Renaissance Theatre
Production's Of Mice and Men. Before that he received a Patte Award as best
actor for Henry II in Lion in Winter. He played the Duke in Measure for
Measure and Duncan in Macbeth for the Poor Players. Other Roles include:
George in Mamet's Duck Variations, Phonograph 2 in Wedding on the Eiffel
Tower, Jonathan in Arsenic and Old Lace, Alfieri in View From the Bridge,
The Spaceman in Glorious Perception, Lyman in Ride Down Mt. Morgan, Roat in
Wait Until Dark, Matt in Tally's Folley, Mr. Frank in Diary of Anne Frank,
Arthur in Camelot, and Felipe in The Ramona Pageant. You may have seen him
in New Village Arts' Uncle Vanya and Midsummer Night's Dream or in readings
for Carlsbad Players, Actor's Alliance, The Streisand Festival, or the
Fritz. He directed The Price for the Brooks Theatre and Sunday in L.A. for
the Actor's Festival. Mr. Riendeau serves on the Board of Directors of The
Fritz Theatre and is a professional teacher and photographer. |

offered to finish the first year of the North American National tour of "The
Music Man". I joined them in Seattle and a week later was in San Diego at
the Civic....I have been with them ever since. The show was directed by Ray
Roderick...who was Susan Stroman's assistant director for the Broadway
production. I am in the ensemble and have gone on for the Quartet. |

at Diversionary theatre. Matt was last seen at Diversionary in Twilight of the
Golds. He is thrilled to be appearing with his dear friend and partner in crime
Omri Schein after all of these years. Recent roles include Greg in The Sum of
Us at 6th @ Penn Theatre, Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet at North coast rep, Miss
Industrial Northeast in Pageant at Cygnet Theatre. After Pigs, Matt will be
returning to Forbidden Broadway at Theatre in Old Town starting Aug 22. Much

Coast in a reading of Twelve Dogs, directed by Jennifer Kraus. Palomar College
credits include: The Who's Tommy as Tommy; The Caucasian Chalk Circle as Azdak;
Book of Days as Boyd Middleton; Hay Fever as Simon Bliss. Also composed original
songs and music for Subject to Change, an original musical performed at Palomar.
